The AI opportunity audit

Two to three weeks, fixed fee, and at the end you hold a defensible map of where AI pays back in your company: real workflows, named owners, ranked numbers, and a 90-day plan. It is the entry point of every serious engagement, and it stands on its own.

01

What happens in the 2-3 weeks

Week one is the process map: structured sessions with the people who actually do the work, tracing how intake, decisions, documents and hand-offs really move. Not the org chart, not the BPMN diagram; the real path, including the human glue between tools.

Week two scores the automation candidates by impact and feasibility against a menu of proven workflow classes, from finance operations to service intake to document pipelines. The last days produce the readout: 3-5 prioritised initiatives with ROI estimates, a 90-day plan, and an executive session to pressure-test it.

02

What you walk away with

The process map itself, which most companies have never had and keep using long after the audit. The scored opportunity list with effort and impact per initiative. The 90-day implementation plan with named owners. And an executive readout your board can interrogate.

03

Sized to pay for itself

CHF 15-25k fixed, under 20 hours of your team's time in total. The first prioritised initiative is chosen so it typically pays the audit back inside a quarter. If the honest finding is that AI does not pay back anywhere yet, the readout says that too, with the numbers that show it.

04

After the audit

Three paths, all legitimate: I build the first system (4-10 weeks, CHF 40-150k); you take the plan to a vendor and I supervise the build as your technical owner; or you execute internally with the plan as the spec. The audit is vendor-neutral by design, and there is no obligation to continue.

Common questions

How much of our team's time does it need?

Under 20 hours in total, spread across the people who run the workflows: typically 60-90 minute sessions per workflow owner plus one executive readout. The heavy lifting happens on my side.

Are we committed to building with you afterwards?

No. The audit stands alone and is vendor-neutral. Roughly a third of audits lead into a build with me, a third go to a vendor under my supervision, and a third are executed internally or paused with a clear conscience.

Remote or on-site?

Both work. The process-map sessions are usually better on-site for the first day or two; scoring and readout run remote without loss. Swiss and DACH engagements, in German or English.

What determines where in the CHF 15-25k range we land?

Organisation size and the number of workflows in scope. A single-site SME with two candidate workflows sits at the lower end; a multi-entity operation with five sits at the top. Fixed before we start, in writing.
